The water maker may be one of our best investments for the boat. We do not make water in the Chesapeake or ICW. Running very low in Annapolis we were filling a 5 gallon jug every time we went to shore. It makes for very quick showers.
We motored down to Oxford and on to Solomon’s Island. There Bob’s college buddy and his wife, Jack and Julie joined us to sail for the weekend. We sailed up the Patuxent and anchored in a beautiful quiet cove off the south side of the river. We would go back there again. They learned to play Mexican Train Dominoes that night. Solomon’s Island was very quiet. Most places had closed for the season.
