We never got off the boat all day. Sara spent the day writing and reorganizing the boat. Bob and the crew worked on boat projects – mast leaks, Raymarine issues, etc. Plus, Bob made the final connections of the new electrical equipment to the distribution panel to enable the boat to operate on European 50 hertz/230 volt power. 
That list never seems to get shorter. As one project gets finished and taken off the list, one to two more projects go onto it. Ken and Doug walked up the hill to town and confirmed that everything was shut down for the holidays. Monday was Azores Day and Tuesday Portugal Day. There were no obvious celebrations, but with the four day weekend perhaps residents left the island for the weekend. Lejes, the very small town we are in with the marina has just a few restaurants and shops. In an hour of walking you can see the entire town.
