January 7 – 31, 2017 –
The first week of January was spent getting the boat and ourselves ready for us to leave Quintessa in Greece for several months. We were off to Barcelona, our second home in spirit. We again rented an apartment, this time in the left side of L’Eixample, L’Eixample being our favorite part of the city. We will be there over two months, with several friends coming and spending time with us, and reconnecting with friends in Barcelona. A side trip to San Sebastian/Bilboa and the Rioja wine country are in the works–an opportunity to explore a new part of Spain.
