Greetings!
We are Sara and Bob Knapp. Welcome to our web site svquintessa.com.
This site will document our multi-year travels aboard our sailboat “Quintessa” as we cruise the North Atlantic Ocean including the Bahamas, Mediterranean and Caribbean.
We have included a blog of our travels which we hope to keep up to date every few weeks. Our boat is a Hylas 49 and we have a section that covers the boat and her systems.
We are also working with two fourth grade classes in our home town of Andover, Massachusetts called “The Atlantic Project”. We have included the periodic logs we send to the classes that the teachers are using for their curriculum. Lastly, there is a Gallery of pictures, along with a neat little map app that shows where we are currently and where we have been. We hope you enjoy our site.
